This is a plain-language starting policy, written to be clear and honest while the site is small. It will be reviewed by an attorney and expanded before any paid subscriptions launch.

What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you choose to share with us, typically:

  • Your name and email address, so we can identify and reach you
  • Optional details you add, like your role (parent, caregiver, professional), what you're interested in, or a message describing your situation
  • If you're a provider or organization contacting us through the Partner page, your organization name, category, and website

We do not collect payment information, medical records, or diagnoses through this site.

How we use it

We use your information for one purpose: to follow up with you personally about what you asked for. There is no automated marketing sequence and no newsletter you didn't sign up for.

We never sell your information, and we never share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Where it's stored

Form submissions (like registering interest or a partner inquiry) are stored in a Firebase database with access restricted to the site owner. It is not publicly readable or searchable.

The free caregiver tools (Transition Checklist, Emergency Binder, IEP/Therapy Prep, Benefits Screener, Calm Corner, Time & Money) work differently: what you type into them is saved only in your own browser's local storage, on your own device. We do not receive, see, or store that content on our servers. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, that information is gone unless you've downloaded or printed it.

Security

We use standard industry hosting and access controls to protect the information we do hold, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and take reasonable steps to address it.

Children's information

This site is intended to be used by adult caregivers, parents, and professionals, not by children. While the person you are caring for may be a minor, the register-interest and partner-inquiry forms are meant to be filled out by an adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your information, stop contacting you, or tell you what we have on file at any time, no reason needed. We'll act on it promptly.
